Breakfast: Oatmeal with half a cup of strawberries and some cinnamon.
Snack: One serving of pretzels.
Lunch: Salad with lettuce, spinach, carrots, cucumber, 1 oz. goat cheese, and onion.
Lunch: 3.8 oz. steak, sweet potato fries, and pineapple.
Snack: Small Tangerine.
Dinner: Ezekiel bread with 1 wedge of Laughing Cow Light creamy Swiss cheese.
Dinner: Bed of lettuce topped with chicken salad (made with part yogurt and part mayo, onion, and grapes).
Dinner: Sun chips.
I think I did pretty well for my first day. According to SparkPeople, I ate within my calorie limit. One thing I noticed, though, is that I ate a little too much protein and not enough carbs. I tried to get a good variety, though, and that’s the main thing. Tomorrow starts my training program, with Stretch & Strength. I’m excited to start it! I’m even going to try to get to bed extra early so I can be well rested and ready for the new week! See you tomorrow.
