Today was my first real food trap since I started this blog– a barbecue. I was really kind of dreading this, as sad as that sounds. But I started the day right with a 4-mile run, and I think I did pretty well overall today (although I’m craving a nice green salad now).
After my run, I was too tired to make a fancy breakfast, so I opted for this Strawberry Chobani.
I had more energy to put into preparing lunch, so I made this delicious pizza on a flat out wrap. I added the usual toppings, but used 1 oz. prosciutto instead of turkey bacon.
On the side, I had some carrots and hummus. I also had a caffeine-free diet coke.
On the way to the bbq, I had this Luna bar to tide me over. I loved it as much as the other cookies ‘n’ creme flavor.
So, the variety was pretty slim. I stuck with the relatively safe bbq and a bag of chips.
Whoops! I went back and got some more meat…
I finished with half of this peanut butter cups cookie. I’m pretty sure it was home-made and it was sooo good and sooo hard to only eat half!

If it’s not raining tomorrow (cross your fingers for me!) I’ll be going to a cook-out that will most likely have a much better variety of foods (although it’s right outside my house, so if there’s no salad I’ll make my own!). Hope you’re having a great weekend!
