Today has been a continual pattern of rain-sun-rain-sun-rain- you get the picture. It was hard getting a 3-mile run in with weather like that. I actually ended up doing 1 mile before lunch, and 2 miles after because of the rain. That was not fun. It was to force myself to go out that second time. But I did it!
For breakfast I had my mini WW bagel with 1 tbs. PB.
For lunch, I made a tortilla pizza with 1 oz. prosciutto, 1/8 c. feta cheese, .8 oz. creamy goat cheese, spinach, onion, and 1/4 c. pizza sauce.
After lunch, I decided to make up these delicious banana-oat bars. Neither Mom nor Dad liked them, but I did– more for me!! I made them with sugar instead of agave nectar and minus the walnuts, and here’s a snippet of the nutrition facts:
Fat: 3 g
Carbs: 30 g
Fiber: 4 g
Protein: 6 g
Not too bad for how scrumptious they are!
Dinner was 5 oz. left-over steak from the cook-out Sunday, plus some sweet potato fries (can you tell I love them?!).
And for dessert– another banana-oat bar. So, so good!
