I got in my 2-mile run this morning. It was really hot! The sun was shining, which made for a tough run, but I am just so very glad the sun was out!
I ate a late breakfast after I got back from my run. I wasn’t really hungry for much except a mini bagel with some light PB. Then I headed up to the pool to take full advantage of the sun! I was really nice laying in the sun and listening to the kids playing. They were really so funny to listen to!
When I got back from the pool, I was hungry, but really just wanted fruits or veggies (weird, I know!). Since I hardly ever have healthy cravings, I just went with it. I chopped up a huge Fuji apple and 2 carrots and had some hummus on the side.
I was much hungrier for dinner (I knew I would be), and it was soooo good! I had 2 chicken thighs (minus the skin), mashed black beans with some cheese, a serving of tortilla chips, and some Wholly Guacamole. I loved the black beans mash and it has inspired me to make a black bean burger in the near future.
I also had a McDonald’s light ice cream in a cup for dessert. Mom has gotten me addicted!!
