I just got back from Grandma’s house, which means I’ve gotta get back to my “normal” calorie counting and all. I don’t feel like I did too badly this weekend, though, which is good. Still, I’m going to try to start off the week with an early morning jog tomorrow.
I started out the morning with a mini bagel with some light PB. I also had some grapes and some cantaloupe on the side. The cantaloupe really didn’t taste very good, though.
Today was Pentecost, which is the birthday of the church, and someone had decorated the sanctuary at my Grandma’s church with tons of balloons. Since it also happened to be my Aunt Melissa’s birthday, we took a bunch of balloons home.
And here’s the birthday girl herself, playing a little tune on the piano.
After lunch, I had a scrumptious wrap. I’ve seen people make these a lot, and have been wanting to try it. It’s a Flat out wrap, with some hummus and cucumber. I also had an apple on the side, and some tortilla chips and salsa (not pictured).
I did lots of swimming and even some water jogging with my aunt. My poor cousin kept getting stung by sweat bees. Other than that, it was tons of fun.
For dinner, I had a Boca burger on a bun, a bite of potato salad, lots of baked beans, two deviled eggs, and some home-made fries. I also had a serving of birthday cake ice cream, which was delicious. I may have gone a little overboard, but I don’t think I did too badly.
Overall, I had a really great weekend. It was nice to get a little change of scenery for a little bit. Morgan is back from her trip to Jamaica, so I’m gonna see her tomorrow. And I’ll see you tomorrow, too! Maybe I’ll even put one of the old pictures of me I found on my Grandma’s computer up tomorrow? Come back and see!
