This Morning I got all ready to go walk with Morgan, and then she called and told me it was raining. So we rescheduled to walk at 7 tonight. At about 6:45, it started raining again :( So I just did a 1-mile walking DVD with Mom, and then a 2.5-mile walk/jog DVD by myself. Altogether, I did about 45 minutes of cardio.
My breakfast was the same as yesterday– mini ww bagel topped with an egg and 1 wedge LC cheese, with a banana on the side. It filled me up so well yesterday, and did not disappoint today.
For lunch, I had the leftover bean burger from Tuesday on a sandwich thin, with ketchup, steamed spinach, and 1 wedge LC cheese. On the side I had more yummy watermelon, and 1 oz. sun chips.
Dinner consisted of some macaroni noodles with chicken and mixed veggies (mostly cauliflower). This was tasty, but not very filling.
But that’s okay, because I’m now enjoying this gem of a smoothie. [I really repeated a lot from yesterday, did I?!] I used 1 banana, 3/4 c. frozen blueberries, 2 tbs. flax-seed meal, and 1 c. Original Almond Breeze.
I’ve got a few things I wanted to mention tonight:
- I never announced that I’ll be running in a 5K race on June 20, which is in just 15 days! Let’s hope my ankle is all better by then.
- I’ve decided not to post my daily stats like I have been. I log them everyday on SparkPeople anyway, so if I need to look back at them, I can still do that there.
- I edited my “My Story” page yesterday; you should go check it out! I also added a “Pictures” page, with some pictures of my monthly progress.
