This morning, I had my weekly weigh-in. I was happily surprised to see I lost 1.0 pound this past week. I was pretty worried I’d have a gain after all I ate on Sunday, and not doing any running this week, so you can imagine how happy I was to see that scale go down.
Whatever happened to Pilates?
Back in 2005 when I lost about 40 pounds, Pilates was all the rage. It was sort of the “new yoga.” Four years later, it’s as if it’s disappeared. Yoga is now the new “it” thing. So what happened to Pilates? Did someone figure out that it’s not really effective and I totally missed the news? I can see why yoga would be better for you, but sadly, I just am not in the physical condition to be able to do yoga at this point. Maybe after I lose 30-40 more pounds. For now, Pilates is the best I can do.
I wanted something other than a bagel this morning, so I had some yellow grits with 2 LC cheese wedges. This was really simple and amazing. The melted LC made is so creamy and delightful.
