I was so excited today when I got my race number and saw that I was not in the 9th starting group like I thought I would be. I’m in the 4th group, which is sort of in the middle, but at least I’ll start the race before 8:00 AM! Of course I had to be cheesy and get my Mom to take my picture with the number.
After this, Mom and I walked a mile with WATP. My leg is still bothering me, but really only on stairs or when I point my toes.
I had a mini ww bagel with light PB and a banana. Always fills me up.
I fell in love with Annie’s mac & cheese during the school year, and have been craving it lately.
It’s really not any better calorie-wise than the regular Kraft mac & cheese, but it just tastes so much better and feels so much healthier for some reason.
I mixed the macaroni with 1 stalk of celery and 3 oz. of turkey sausage.
It may seem kind of weird to add in the celery, but I have to try extra hard to get in some veggies during the day, since I don’t naturally crave them.
I ate lunch a lot earlier than I normally do. I’ve gotten used to eating lunch around 2 and then we usually have dinner at about 6. So I was ravenous by 4. I knew I had to eat something fast, so I piled up a ton of watermelon into a bowl and gobbled it right up! This held me over ’til dinner.
My dinner was so so so good. I put a 3-oz. piece of chicken + 2 tbs. pesto sauce + spinach onto a toasted sandwich thin. I was a little worried that it wouldn’t turn out as well as I thought, but it was amazing! I also had a delicious ear of corn and 1/4 c. couscous. Such a satisfying meal!
My 2.5-mile walk with Morgan went well tonight. My leg really didn’t hurt during it, which made me very happy. I’m a little low on calories today, so I think I might have a little snack before bed. I’ll see you tomorrow!
