I may have had a bit of a case of the Mondays today. I just felt very unmotivated and sluggish. I guess I’m just recovering from the weekend, but I am feeling a bit better tonight after my jog/walk.
When I was trying to decide what to have for breakfast, I realized we were out of LC cheese for grits, and we had no English muffins or ww bagels. Boo :( So I had a Strawberry Chobani instead.
I really don’t like having sweet breakfasts, but it did the job.
I had been craving a hamburger ever since last night, so I went for a lower calorie version– a Boca burger. I had it on a Sandwich Thin with 2% American cheese and some lettuce and ketchup. On the side I had some of Mom’s healthified potato salad.
It may not have been a real beef burger, but it hit the spot and banished my craving!
I got a little munchy before dinner, so I made a little snack plate of carrots with hummus, and a crescent round.
Dinner was one of the regulars on the blog– pasta with pesto and chicken.
On the side, I had some sauteed yellow squash.
After some digestion time, I went a walk/jog. To get my 60 minutes in, I jogged 30 minutes, and then walked 30 minutes. It felt great to get back out there.
After the walk/jog, I was wanting a nice recovery snack.
I settled on a Peach Chobani with 1/2 a cup of Banana Cheerios and a sliced banana. And of course some water.

Yay! I met all my goals for the day, even with my case of the Mondays!!
