[Edit] I forgot to say what I did for my other 30 minutes of exercise. After dinner, I went out and did a 5-minute walking warm-up, then jogged 30 minutes, then did 5 minutes of walking for a cool-down. It was sticky and there were lots of bugs that were trying to fly into my mouth, so I had to run with my mouth closed, which made it harder. But I did it!
[Original Post] Happy Tuesday, everyone! I hope your day’s been great so far. Mine’s been okay– kinda rainy and I haven’t felt that great. But I’m enjoying a smoothie right now, which is bringing my spirits up as I type!
I started out the day with a Leslie Sansone’s 2.5-mile walk/jog, which is 30 minutes long. I do love starting the day out with movement, but I just can’t seem to motivate myself to do this every day. I’m not what you’d call a “morning person.”
After the walk/jog, I had a mini ww bagel with cinnamon and half a banana. Whenever people say they had half a banana, I always wonder why they didn’t just have the whole thing, so I’ll tell you– my mom had the other half for her breakfast.
Lunch was just a little made-up meal by me.
2 c. spinach
2 oz. prosciutto
2 oz. goat cheese
1.5 servings of Eggbeaters (that’s all that was left)
1 whole egg
1 pinch salt
Then I mixed it all together and baked it 400* for about 20 minutes.
It turned out awesome.
Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for my dinner.
For one thing, I just wasn’t feeling very well. The salmon looked okay, but then I took one bite and bit into a bone. I’m sorry, but I just cannot do fish bones. I love salmon, but if it’s got bones, I’m done with it. Also, the couscous turned out dry. On the bright side, the green beans had a really good flavor!
I put back the salmon and got a piece of leftover chicken. It had the skin left on, but I took it off. I also didn’t eat the rest of the couscous.
But I did go back for another crescent round.
Dessert made up for the not-so-great dinner.
In my smoothie:
1 c. Original Almond Breeze
1/2 c. blueberries
2 tbs. flaxseed meal
8+ cups water: :)
60-min. w/o: :)
calorie range: :)
I met all the goals again today. Let’s hope I can keep this up for the next two weeks before our St. Thomas vacation!
Oh, and tomorrow I’ll be having my first taste of TJ’s Almond Butter. I’ll share with you my honest opinion about it. I’m a little scared ;)
Bye y’all, I’ll see you tomorrow. Hopefully I’ll be feeling better. And I hope you all are feeling great, too!!!
