I was in another funky mood today. I just couldn’t really get motivated, and I took a nap. I rarely take naps, so this was strange for me. I think I made the most of the day, though.
For breakfast, I had more yellow grits with LC cheese. Sorry if this gets old for you all; it never gets old for me!
Finally, I could get some pool time in.
It’s just so nice and relaxing for me.
Maybe it’s just me, but I think that one looks like a seahorse. Anyone?
Then the clouds rolled in around 2:00, and I really thought it was going to rain. But it actually didn’t rain until about 9:30 tonight.
After the pool, I enjoyed some lovely watermelon. I had a HUGE bowl of it.
Lunch consisted of red beans and rice. I just love this stuff! My dad was so sweet to make a big batch of it last night for me to have this week, so you can bet you’ll be seeing lots of it again soon.
For dinner, I tried out a Digiorno flat bread wrap that we had a coupon for.
It turned out surprisingly good. The cheese was nice and melty and the flat bread was chewy and crispy at the same time. I loved it, but it was a little small for the calories (as most things like this are).
Dessert was a nice fresh smoothie.
Like I said, I wasn’t really motivated today. I was very tempted to call it a rest day, but remembered my weekly goal to get in 60 minutes every day. Anyway, I did a big mish-mash of DVD’s today. Here’s what I did:
Leslie Sansone’s 1-mile jog (15 mins.)
Denise Austin’s Yoga Body Burn Part 1 (20 mins.)
Jillian Michaels’ 30 Day Shred (20 mins.)
Denise Austin’s Yoga Body Burn Stretch (10 mins.)
Needless to say, I was sweating bullets by the end of the 65 minutes! My thighs are already killing me from that yoga!!
Tomorrow I’ll be staying at my Granparents’ house, so I’m not sure if I’ll be able to post or not. Either way, I hope you have a splendid Friday!!!
