I started out my day yesterday with a nice refreshing smoothie.
1 c. blueberries
1 c. almond milk
1 tbs. flax
1/2 c. cantaloupe
Then I went to the store in search of something interesting to make for lunch.
And I found this.
While the noodles boiled, I snacked on a carrot and chopped some veggies.
I added carrot, onion, celery, and cooked chicken.
Added it all into a skillet with the drained and rinsed noodles and the sauce packet, and it turned into this:
Here’s my bowl.
I kinda just had to guess on what a third of the whole thing was. It made a lot.
I also picked this up at the store:
So Delicious Mocha Fudge. And it lived up to it’s name.
Just look at those swirls of happiness!
Dinner was good, but nothing exciting.
More leftover red beans and rice. This always fills me up really well.
A few hours later, while watching A Streetcar Named Desire, I got a hankering to try one of the Larabars my grandma bought me last weekend. I really wanted to be able to say I loved it, but I just didn’t. I don’t know what it was, I just didn’t even like the smell of it. I had half, and Mom had the other half when she got home. She said it tasted like cake. Maybe I’ll like another flavor.
Time for me to get some lunch and then start getting ready for Bunco tonight (we’re hosting). Don’t laugh, it’s actually really fun (plus there’s yummy food and drinks)! I’m making a couple things for it that I’ll share later. See you all soon!
