It’s been a while! I’ve been so busy with SUMMER, and I just love staying busy. Here’s a snippet of what I’ve been up to.
I started the day out by trying my new Skippy Natural PB. I realize this isn’t like raw organic PB or anything, but it’s a BIG step for this girl whose favorite PB has always been Original Peter Pan! I could definitely tell the difference, but I liked it.
For lunch, I had some leftover Pad Thai from the day before, and added a tbs. of flax on top.
Then Mom and I got ready to host Bunco at our house. The best part (besides the company, of course) is the food and drinks!
I made the De-pudged Pigs in Blankets.
As you can see, there was LOTS of tempting food.
We served two types of Sangria, as well as Margaritas, wine, and beer. I had to stick to the diet soda and water, being the only one there under 21 :(
I think all that junk food caught up with me the next day, because my tummy wasn’t feeling so hot the whole day and I never got very hungry.
I started out the day wonderfully with a bowl of Banana cheerios with Strawberry Chobani.
Then we headed off to get our hair done. I just love getting my hair done! We have to drive a little ways to get there, but it’s worth it because Mom and I have been seeing the same hair stylist since I was like 4 years old.
After that, I wasn’t really hungry, but felt like I needed something in my stomach, so I settled on this Bora Bora bar. I really liked this bar. It had a nice cinnamon flavor, and was full of nuts.
Later that night, I went to a family friend’s birthday party. I wasn’t hungry still, but had half a piece of chicken, a plain hamburger bun, and a few tortilla chips. I don’t know what was up with me, but I just wasn’t feeling well all day. The party was fun, though!

I started off the day with the same meal as yesterday. Simple and quick, but I forget to snap a picture!
Then for lunch I was craving mac and cheese. I settled on Annie’s Mac and cheese with some broccoli and a little Parmesan on top. Loved it!
For dinner, I boiled up a 2 oz. (dry) serving of whole wheat pasta, added 2 oz. chicken and some pesto. Can’t go wrong with pesto pasta and chicken!
I’m very happy to say I’m feeling much better today, and I have lost 1 pound in the past week.
