Hey y’all, I hope your week is going great! I’m trying to live it up here as much as I can!
This morning, for some reason we woke up around 6:30. I think the sun rising and setting earlier here has thrown us off, even though we’re in the same time zone. Anyway, Emily and I headed to the gym. I did 20 minutes on the elliptical, 23 minutes on the treadmill (walking), and then 4 minutes on the bike before Emily pulled me into the weight room to do some strength training (maybe 15 minutes?). I was sweaty and sore by the end of it!
I was definitely hungry for a nice big breakfast. I was a little disappointed that the only non-sweet item was a hard boiled egg. Y’all know I’m a salty foods person! Still, there was a great selection of healthy choices. The cereal is Kashi Heart to Heart, and there’s vanilla yogurt under it. I also had a cup of hot chamomile tea.
Today was cloudy and windy all day, but it felt so nice!
Then we hit the beach!
And I went snorkeling! My first time. Please ignore how ridiculous I look, and pretend I look real professional ;) I wasn’t exactly sure how the mask worked.
Lunch was very much welcomed by my rumbly tummy.
I had spinach salad with beans on top. I also had some carrots and a couple little ham sandwiches on some amazing bread.
And a pretty little fruity drink.
I just ate the brownie. Not quite sure what the other thing was.
I made a couple friends out by the pool.
And we saw the beginning of a sweet little beach wedding. I got a little teary eyed watching this. I’m such a sucker for romance!
This was my dinner. I had lots of lettuce, zucchini, and celery, with some tuna and chicken and a couple dumplings.
And chips with salsa. These are dangerous!
Well I’m gonna go climb in bed now so I can have another early workout tomorrow morning. I hope you all have a great Wednesday!
