Hey everyone, I’ve missed you! I’ve been back since Friday night, and am just now caught up my Google Reader, and am finally able to post on here. Four people trying to share a computer meant that I had no time to blog the last few days, but it’s okay because it’s fun looking back at the pictures a few days later!
Wednesday, I was starting to get tired of the sweet breakfast. I had some breakfast tea with honey, some peach yogurt with Special K (didn’t finish it), some fruit, and traded the cinnamon bun in for a mini waffle. I saved the banana for the beach later.
Then my dad and I went out on a paddle boat in the bay.
Loved the view from it.
I actually went out twice that day—first with my dad and then with my sister a few hours later.
Mom even got in the ocean. That is just unheard of! I asked her when the last time she swam in the ocean was, and she said she couldn’t remember ;)
All that activity worked of quite an appetite for me! This was my favorite lunch of the trip—chicken salad sandwiches. The chicken salad was sweet and savory—just the way I like it!
Then we went back out to the pool.
Dinner consisted of a big salad and some tapas. I loved the egg rolls, but did not finish the beef skewers or the crab-filled potatoes.
Did you know it gets dark about 1.5 hours earlier in St. Thomas than in GA, even though they are in the same time zone? I didn’t know that before, but it makes sense since St. Thomas is so far east of GA.
It was fun laying in the hammock on the beach looking at the stars.
Another great day, and I was exhausted! Come back to see Day 4 soon!!
