How’s everyone’s weekend going? I hope it’s a good one for you all!
Today was day two of my Shred Challenge, and man, was I sore! It’s most likely because it was the first real workout I’d done in a week, because I’ve done it several times before and never felt sore afterward. Anyway, day two went really well, even though I was sore. I worked harder than yesterday, and it seemed to go by faster. 28 days to go!
Breakfast was light because I really wasn’t hungry. I had a big juicy peach.
I’m officially hooked on the Crack Wrap. I had one with some sun chips and a chopped carrot on the side.
Dinner was sort of a disappointment. I had just done the Shred, so I wanted some protein but didn’t have any cooked chicken to add to some pasta, so I thought maybe I’d add some Greek yogurt to the mix. I started with 1/8 c. Greek yogurt and a tbs. of basil pesto. I added in 2 oz. pasta and and a pinch of sea salt. I mixed it all together in a sauce pan and added about a cup of spinach.
I think it looked better than it tasted. I guess I’m just not very good at being creative in the kitchen. It turned out edible, but I wouldn’t make it again. Oh well :)
I felt like I had a strange day of eating. I always kind of feel guilty when I have a serving of Sun Chips, but I just don’t think I could give them up. Remember, I crave salty not sweet. I could give up cakes or cookies, but I don’t think I could give up Sun Chips or crackers. I’ve got Type O blood, and I’ve heard that it’s common for us to crave salty rather than sweets. Maybe it’s a myth, but it holds true for me!
Enjoy your Sunday, everyone!
