This is going to have to be a quick one because I need to get back to researching for a group project.
After my first class, I was really hungry. I came back and ate a serving of my leftover chicken casserole.
I believe this is the reason people don’t make a whole casserole just for themselves. My food has been sort of boring and repetitive this week due to my trying to eat it up before I go home for the long weekend. Still, the casserole was and is still really good. I’d make this again for my family, but not for just me.
After lunch, I rushed back to Spanish class. Since my class is practically right next door to the gym, I took my workout clothes to change into after class. This worked out really well, so I think I’ll be doing that from now on.
My workout consisted of 5 minutes on the machine that I still don’t know the name of (it seems to work like a Stairmaster, but looks more like an elliptical), 30 minutes on the elliptical, and 15 minutes on the bike. Lynne commented yesterday that my rear end would get used to the bike after a while, so hopefully that will happen soon because I’m in some pain!
After my workout it was just like yesterday all over again. I was really hungry, but not really wanting any particular food.
I decided to go with a couple safe options of a sandwich thin with PB and Oikos vanilla yogurt with TJ’s granola.
I ate this, but wasn’t really loving every bite like I usually do. As you probably know if you’ve been reading for a while, I usually love everything I eat. Not sure what’s up with the lack of enjoying food after my workouts.
