This morning, I woke up with the goal of consuming some fruits and veggies. Let’s see how I did.
I started out on the right foot with a banana, dinosaur plum, and 3 mini pitas with some PB for dipping. This kept me full for hours.
For lunch, I took the last Chick-fil-A sandwich, got rid of the bun, and put it on top of a bed of lettuce to make a salad. I also had sweet potato fries on the side.
This turned out to be a fantastic and filling meal. The sweet potato I used was huge, so I only ended up eating about 2/3 of them.
For dinner, I had the last of the pesto pasta with shrimp, and I savored every bite. Pesto is a precious food to me!
Dessert consisted of something I don’t get very much of—homemade peach pie. My grandma made this pie, using peaches from a peach tree in her backyard. She served it Sunday, but I was too full to have any, so I asked if I could take my piece to-go. It was a fabulous splurge, to say the least. Thanks Grandma!!!
Project Runway is on so I’m going to get going. Tomorrow’s Friday, yay!!!
Edit: I just now realized I left off my workout. I went to the gym and did 30 mins. on the elliptical and then 20 mins. on the bike.
