I was so hungry when I got back to my apartment after my first classes that I really just wanted to shove the first item of food I saw into my mouth. Thankfully, I was able to use some self control, and fix up a great meal.
I heated up this tilapia sandwich, which was left-over from Friday night.
I can’t really call this a “salad,” since it’s just lettuce, but I’m lucky I even got this!
I also had a carrot with some hummus to dip.
Overall, a satisfying meal. Glad I was able to wait a few minutes for it!
I made it to the gym after Spanish. I decided to change my goal from a full hour at the gym to 50 minutes since the walk there and back takes a little under 20 minutes. I did 20 minutes on the bike, and then 30 minutes on the elliptical.
When I got back to the apartment, I immediately started dinner.
I started with some chicken stock then added a packet of Udon noodles I had in the freezer, some fresh green beans, and 1 can of beans (I think they were pinto? can’t remember now).
I also had my sample of TLC 7 Grain crackers.
This was my first time trying these, but now I want more! Loved them.
All together. I really enjoyed this meal.
For dessert, I had an English Toffee Crunch ice cream bar from Weight Watchers. I really love these.
The Oprah Effect
I’m watching this video on the “Oprah Effect.” I’ve always loved Oprah (despite how crazy she is sometimes), and find it fascinating how she has such an influence on people. The documentary even talks about a woman that wrote an entire book about how to get on Oprah. Not only did she write a book about this, but she trains people who are looking to get on the show. How crazy is that?! Do you like Oprah? Are you watching her new season? [Also, I think it’s interesting to note that Windows Live Writer recognized “Oprah Winfrey” as being spelled correctly.]
Have a great night, everyone!
