So today when I went to the gym, a class was about to start. The class’s instructor saw me near the door, and asked if I was going to her class. Honestly, I’d love to go to a class, but none of them seem good for beginners. I’ve looked in on these classes before, and have only seen fit girls in them doing difficult moves. Very intimidating. I think I’ll have to wait a few more pounds before I try out one of those classes.

For breakfast, I had my sample of Barney Butter on a sandwich thin and a banana.
When I got back from my class, my roommate had gotten a turkey sandwich from a local shop, and was sweet enough to give me half since it was a big sandwich.
I got my gym bag ready to go so I’d have to go to the gym after class. I did 30 minutes on the elliptical and 30 minutes on the bike. I’m very proud that I got this done today because I really wasn’t wanting to. This rain is making me want to just lay around all day, but I know I can’t do that!
Speaking of rain, it’s now crossed the line from annoying to dangerous. Luckily, there is no flooding where I am, but the flooding in some areas has caused fatalities. So sad and scary, and I’m praying for the safety of everyone.
For dinner, I had ravioli with some leftover sauce. Deeelish!

Chobani Review & Giveaway
Has everyone seen or heard about the new flavors from Chobani? They now have honey, pineapple, and pomegranate. I was thrilled when they sent me all the flavors to try.
I decided to try the honey flavor after my workout.
I was very curious to see if I’d enjoy this flavor, because I’ve had other brands of Honey Greek yogurt that I didn’t like at all.
I was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved this.
Have you been wanting to see what all the buzz is about Greek yogurt, but been too scared to try it yourself? Well, Chobani has been sweet enough to give my readers a chance to score some to try yourself!
To enter, just leave a comment telling me your favorite way to eat Greek yogurt, OR the flavor you’d most like to try*.
I’ll pick a random winner Wednesday, September 23 at 10:00 PM.
*U.S. residents only, please.
Have a great night!
My favorite way to eat Greek yogurt is over fruit with some granola on the top! SDG for sure!!!!!!!
Hey! I’ve been following your blog for a while now, but I don’t think I’ve ever commented… I guess I’ve never had anything to say. :] But I love your blogging style, and I love reading about your journey. Anyways, I have to say that your Greek yogurt giveaway snabbed my attention! I’ve NEVER had Greek yogurt, and I’ve so been wanting to try it forever! Its just so expensive. :[ If I could have any flavor in the world, it would be just nonfat, plain. I love to flavor my yogurts myself, and the added sugars in the flavored versions usually give me headaches anyways. :]
I’ll stay out of the giveaway since it would look a little funny for “the sister” to win it, but since I’ve already tried the pomegranate, I’d love to try both the pineapple and honey and if I had to pick one, it’d be the pineapple since I don’t think I’ve ever heard of pineapple yogurt!!
If only you could see the variety of women that come to the classes at my gym… I think you’d do an awesome job in the class, but don’t do anything you don’t wanna do… just don’t let what you think you are capable hold you back from what you really are capable. Take your big sister’s advice! ;)
Love ya!
I love greek yogurt! My favorite way to eat it is the vanilla flavor with chopped strawberries and topped with cereal or granola.
hey, just found your blog! love it! as for the giveaway question, i’d love to try the pomegranate flavor. i’ve seen some mixed reviews on it and i would like to taste and see what i think. :)

I’ve been dying to try the new pineapple flavor (even though it has received some mixed reviews in the blog community…I like to judge for myself).
I love Chobani, but they don’t sell the new flavors here. I like to eat my greek yogurt with some Kashi Go Lean Crunch, and would probably love to try the Pomegranate the most.
My new favorite way to eat greek yogurt is with a bit of pumpkin spiced granola from WF and some butterscotch jello mix (just a dash) in it to take away some of the tartness. It’s not really sweet but it is a nice treat.
I hear you about not wanting to get out in the rain and not wanting to try classes out of fear. I have to force myself out of the house when it is raining because I hate getting wet. I must be a cat or something. But I always feel better after so I have to remind myself of that. And as for the classes, pick a spot in the very back so you can watch others and take a break to practice if you need. All classes (even beginners) will have move you need to work at to do well. Give it a try and you might like it.
I am dying to try the pineapple and cannot find it anywhere in Atlanta. I like to eat greek yogurt with sliced banana.
HHMMM…I love Greek yogurt with some plain and crunchy, like Grape Nuts or TJ’s High Fiber O’s cereal. I love savoring the flavor of it. I also love flax in yogurt, it gives it just the right texture.
Okay, I NEED to try that pineapple flavor! I love Greek yogurt the most with fresh fruit mixed in!
Jenn, take a class! See if there are any shorter ones that are likely not as intimidating. Also, talk to the instructors beforehand and ask them what the class entails. From my experience, everyone can at least do SOME modified version of all of the moves in group fitness classes. Just give it a try, and if you don’t like it, you don’t have to go back!
Well, Ive lurked for awhile now, but ive got to come out of the woodwork for greek yogurt! My favorite way to eat it is just as it is, and I can’t wait to try pineapple. We don’t get Chobani here in IA and Id love to be able to try it!
As for the classes, Ive been where you are. I have lost 100 lbs, and at the beginning of the battle I decided to go to a step class at my college and spent the whole class tripping over my feet, but I went back and started to get better (and lost a lot of weight) and in not very much time it became my favorite part of the week!
I would LOVE to try the honey flavored one! It sounds delicious. To me, one of the greatest sandwiches in the world would is peanut butter, honey, and banana on whole wheat bread. So…I would probably chop up a banana, add a scoop of PB2, some granola, and mix it all together in the yogurt. I am hungry just thinking about it :)
i love greek yogurt! with yougurt andfruit and kabocha and cinnamonnnnnnnnnnnn
Honey and I love to spread it on a Larabar…yum!
Love your blog – but I haven’t commented yet :) I love greek yogurt with granola! yum!
i would love to try POMegranate!
favorite way is plain 0% mixed with fresh fruits! taste so good!!
Hey Jenn!! I’m pumped you got to the gym even though you didn’t feel like it– I always feel much better once I’ve gone (especially on days like that!!)
I LOVE greek yogurt and really want to try the pomegranate flavor. I usually eat my greek yogurt plain, or with a tiny bit of preserves mixed it so I think this would be a good mix for me!
Have a great rest of your week, I really hope that rain eases up for ya’ll!!
=)
Hey Jenn!
My suggestion on the classes would be to give it a try! You never know what you are capable of! When/if you do try a class, go at your own pace. I tried a spin class a while back and kept up with the instructor and was in poor shape by the end of the class.
I would love to try the pineapple chobani! I like to eat my greek yogurt with a couple vanilla waffers! :-)
Great job going to the gym when u didn’t totally want to after a month it will become habit so stick with it! I’d most like to try pineapple yum!
I love greek yogurt mixed with some granola and topped with a banana…great way to start the day! :)
I love it with a banana and granola!
I have never tried Chobani, but I have been wanting to for awhile now as I see everyone online in the Health Blogs eating it! I would like all the flavors, just as it has a flavor……I do not like plain! =) Laura

I would most like to try the pineapple flavor. I love all things pineapple!!
I’m not entering the giveaway as I’m from the UK (boo hoo) but still wanted to comment. If I could try one it’d be the pineapple flavour, yummie.
I just noticed your blog titile spells out your name ha :) I’m very slow you know.
Traditionally, I like greek yogurt just mixed with some fruit and granola. I’d really like to try the honey flavor. :) ~Grace
Good for you on doing the workout!! Rainy days always make me feel blah too… but I do always feel better after i’ve exercised!!
As for the classes, you never know till you try… ;) You may surprise yourself! :)

I haven’t had a chance to try greek yogurt yet. I can’t find it sold anywhere around me. I have heard great things about the pineapple flavor though.
Yum! I haven’t tried pomegranate or honey, but the pineapple is delish! I love it plain or with Kashi Heart to Heart toasted cinnamon.
Love greek yogurt with kashi cereal drizzled with honey!!! YUM
I definitely want to try the pineapple chobani, that sounds really good! Speaking of trying new things, did you happen to get any of the salt and vinegar pop chips? If so I will need a review of them soon. I could only find the BBQ and regular at Target – not what I wanted.
If you want to try a class you might want to start with kickboxing. It’s pretty low impact, gets your heart rate up, and as a bonus pretty much everyone looks lame doing it!
When I was in college I worked at the nursery at a gym and could go for free. I was SO NERVOUS to try a class the first time. Once I got going it was pretty fun. Of course you won’t get it all right the first time – but it wouldn’t hurt to give it a try (stand in the back).
I love plain Greek yogurt on top of a pancake with sliced banana’s and pure maple syrup…yum! The flavor that I would most like to try would definately be pineapple!
Fave way to eat Greek yogurt is mixed with PB and topped with fruits and Puffins! :D
I haven’t tried the Chobani yogurt yet. The flavors sound delicious! I would love to try the pineapple flavor the most. When I eat greek yogurt I love to sprinkle granola and a small dollop of whipped cream. :) Yummy!!!!
I just recently got hooked on OIKOs greek yogurt, so I would love to try the famous chobs! I like it straight up….it’s so creamy!!
MMM! Ravioli is so yummy!
Jenn, I saw your chobani give away on maggie’s blog. I eat the honey and blueberry flavors every morning at work for breakfast!!
