Can you believe tomorrow is Thanksgiving?!?? It seems like it’s just snuck up on me this year! Time for comfort foods, like these…
More leftover chicken casserole with peas and corn, topped with ground flax.
Red beans and rice with shrimp.
Salad topped with creamy goat cheese.
Today, Em came to have lunch with Mom and I. We ate at Panera.
I decided to get the mozzarella and tomato Panini with basil.
With black bean soup on the side.
And a sweet Fuji apple.
The sandwich and black bean soup were both absolutely delicious. I can’t get how good they were out of my mind.
Emily raved about this Lindt Excellence A Touch of Sea Salt Dark Chocolate here, so of course I had to try it!
We found it on sale at the World Market, and I noticed World Market also made their own version. So I thought a taste test sounded fun!
Here are my thoughts:
- Lindt brand is 3.5 oz. while WM brand is 3 oz.
- Lindt was creamier because it was less of a dark chocolate than WM
- WM had a more noticeable salt flavor
The verdict: I still don’t really know which one I liked better, but I’m leaning more towards the WM brand.
I also picked up this herbal tea at World Market.
And this cute little teapot shaped infuser.
Oh, and this adorable Christmas birdie mug.
Love this tea. I am not usually an herbal tea fan, but I really like this one a lot.
I hope everyone has a safe and fun Thanksgiving with family and friends. Enjoy it!
