December 2008
Hi everyone! I’m so glad you’ve stumbled upon my blog! Here’s a little background of what this blog is all about.
Back in January 2005, I started doing Weight Watchers online, and lost about 50 pounds by the time I ran the Peachtree Road Race, which is a 10K in July 2005. I couldn’t run the whole thing, but it was such a great experience.
At that point, was at my lowest weight of my adult life. I was pretty happy at that weight, although I could have stood to lose about 20 or so more pounds. For some reason, instead of trying to lose those last 20 pounds, I just stopped. Looking back, I can’t really figure out why I stopped. I just did. That was my biggest mistake.
Looking at the pictures from that time, I think I looked great! I look happier than I do in most pictures. Genuinely happy.
July 4, 2005
From July 2005 to April 2009, I put on more weight than I care to admit. At that point, I had about 100 pounds to lose. That’s a lot. It’s pretty daunting when I think of it that way, so I’m trying not to focus on the number, and focus more on my true goal: to find my happy weight. Stick around to see my progress!
I found your blog today from Polly’s Yoga is Yummy. I also had about a 100 lbs to lose. I’m down 30 from my top weight. You’re doing all the right things. Keep up the good things and keep writing. From Topeka, KS I give you greetings.

Hey girl! I just found your blog via a comment you left at…some other blog! I can’t remember the name! I get a little click happy sometimes.
Anyway. Our stories are similar except for that I’m ancient and you’re just a young thing! Good for you for taking control early in life!

Hey Jenn! I just found your blog – and I’m glad I did :) I can relate to your story (losing and then regaining the weight.) I’m currently on my way to losing the 35 pounds I regained plus some. I’m looking forward to seeing your continuing progress.
I’m glad you found me, too! I hope you’ll stop by again :)
I just stumbled on your blog from Carrots N Cake. At my highest I had about 100 pounds to lose too. Now I’m at my lowest of aroun 163 and have about 8 more to lose to hit my WW goal of 155. I’m excited to see how you do.

Hi Jenn!
I am so glad I found your blog again! I first came across your blog a couple of months ago when you wrote a guest spot on KathEats.com and I was instantly hooked on yours and your journey. Well, my compute crashed and i could not find your blog again! : ( i just saw you comment on one of Kath’s post and I was so excited! lol i see your progress is going great! Keep it up b/c your inspiring me to get back on track (it’s hard right now I have a baby due in 5 weeks! ) but it’s keeping me motivated to start small steps and cut out the processed junk! I started my own blog to help me through this journey, check it out if you like! Best of luck!!

I’m sort of on a quest to find my happy weight too! I look forward to reading more!
Hi Jenn! I saw your blog on a random blogroll and had to come over to see another JenN. :-) You look beautiful at any weight! Whatever you current goal is you can do it. You’ve done it once you can do it again!
Hi Jenn!
I am brand new to the blogging world (like I just put up my first post yesterday) and stumbled upon your website. I love it, so cute! I also lost about 50 pounds using WW back in 2004-2005 and have put back on much more than I lost. I am hoping that making myself accountable to my blog will help keep me on track. Has it helped you?
Best,
Jen
